Measure the distance around your pool staying approximately two feet from the edge of the pool.

example: 50' 6"
           

If you have a screen enclosure you may be able to go from side to side instead of around the entire pool.  Remember that all entrances to the pool must be outside the fenced off area.  Measure from one side of your enclosure to the other.
